We are privileged in Montreal to share the olympic rowing and canoeing
facility. This is not the case at many other locations. Dragonboating
brings a lot of paddlers to the site. Be careful to not block lanes and
hallways. Be mindful of others trying to pass through. Thanks!

Directions to the Olympic
Basin
The Olympic Basin is located on Ile Notre Dame. The docks and
facilities are located at the east end of the basin (towards the
Jacques-Cartier bridge, away from the Casino).
By Metro :
Get of at metro Parc Jean Drapeau, i.e. the metro for Ile Ste Helene.
Walk south and cross a short bridge to Ile Notre Dame. Turn left to
walk east to Bassin Olympique / parking P2.
By Car from Autoroute Bonaventure (either direction):
From Autoroute Bonaventure, take the exit for
Ave Pierre Dupuy / Casino / Parc des Iles. Drive along Pierre Dupuy
which will eventually curve right onto Pont de la Concorde. Take the
right or middle lane to Ile Notre Dame (the left lane is for the
Casino). Follow signs to Bassin Olympique or parking P2. Parking is $3/hr if you do not have an annual pass.

Additional driving directions for getting to Autoroute Bonaventure:
1) From downtown : Head south on rue University. The street becomes
autoroute Bonaventure.
2) From hwy 15 : Take 15-sud/20-est towards Pont Champlain. Just before Ile des Soeurs take the exit
for autoroute Bonaventure by following the sign for Centre-Ville /
Casino.
3) From autoroute 720 : Take autoroute Ville-Marie (720), get off
exit for de la Montagne / University and follow the curve for going
down de la Montagne. Turn
left on Notre-Dame. At University you will see the autoroute
Bonaventure rising above the normal street level on the right.
Turn right onto this 3-lane autoroute. (If you turn just before, you'll
parallel below the autoroute. That's ok. Just keep going and after
crossing Wellington there will be an on-ramp for the autoroute.)
The 15 could be slow due to Pont Champlain. The 720 could be slow due to lane closures. Check the
