Fundraiser
& Sponsorship The individual or group that organizes and conducts a fundraiser receives 20% of the profits as credit to pay for their Jade Dragons team fees. The individual or group that procures sponsorship receives 15% of the amount as credit to pay for their Jade Dragons team fees1. The credit may be applied retroactively to current season fees already paid. Left over credit may be carried into the next season. The club is not responsible for determining how the credits should be divided among a group. A fundraising event or sponsorship procurement is generally spearheaded by one person who performs the preparatory work and takes on the commitment to follow through. By de facto the credits go to this lead organizer. 1 Some festivals have a higher registration fee for corporate sponsored teams. The 15% reward applies to the amount that it would cost us to register as a community team, i.e. it applies to the actual amount of savings to us. Ex. Community team registration is $1000, corporate team registration is $1600. The sponsor pays $1600 for festival registration. The finder reward is 15% of $1000. |
